Installation Done Right Means Installation Done Once
A typical HDB or condo aircon is meant to last 10–12 years. The install quality in the first day decides most of that lifespan — BTU sizing, piping route, insulation, vacuum depth, mounting angle. Rush any of those and you’ll be paying for premature compressor failure or leaking copper within 3 years.
We’ve been installing in Singapore since 2005. Every system we fit is sized, routed, insulated and commissioned to a checklist — then pressure-tested before we hand you the remote.
Systems We Install
- Window-type units — older HDB flats, simple retrofits
- Split-type systems (1:1) — one indoor unit paired to one outdoor condenser, most common bedroom install
- Multi-split systems (1:2 through 1:5) — one outdoor condenser running multiple indoor units, standard for new condo and landed homes
- Cassette and ceiling-mount — commercial and some larger landed properties
- VRV / VRF commercial systems — quoted on-site survey
Brand Coverage
We install every major brand sold in Singapore and stock common parts for each:
- Daikin — Inverter Smile, Perfera, and VRV commercial
- Mitsubishi Electric — Starmex and Mr. Slim
- Panasonic Econavi — X, XE, AeroSmart
- Toshiba — Daiseikai inverter series
- LG — Dual Inverter
- Hitachi — Shirokuma RAS series
If you haven’t decided on a brand yet, we’ll give you a no-pressure comparison during the site survey — based on room size, existing wiring, NEA energy rating, and your budget.
What Our Installation Covers
Pre-install (on-site survey):
- BTU sizing for each room (under-sized = poor cooling, over-sized = short-cycling and higher bills)
- Route check for HDB-compliant trunking
- Outdoor unit placement check (ventilation, noise, access for future servicing)
- Electrical load check (some older HDB panels need an upgrade for multi-split systems)
Install day:
- Copper piping cut, flared and bent to the exact route
- Tropical-grade insulation wrapped around every metre of pipe (no budget insulation that sweats in humidity)
- Trunking fitted to HDB guidelines — colour-matched to your wall where possible
- Indoor unit mounted, spirit-level checked (drainage won’t flow if the mount is off-angle)
- Outdoor unit secured on anti-vibration mounts
Commissioning:
- Full vacuum pump down to manufacturer spec (typically 500 microns or lower)
- Nitrogen pressure leak test (30-minute hold at operating pressure)
- Refrigerant charged to exact spec for the pipe run length
- 60-minute run test with cold-discharge temperature measurement
- Remote programmed, owner’s manual walked through with you
Pricing (Labour — Unit Cost Separate)
- Single split system (1:1): S$300–450 labour
- Multi-split (1:2 or 1:3): S$600–900 labour
- Multi-split (1:4 or 1:5): S$900–1,400 labour
- Cassette / ceiling-mount: from S$1,200
- Add-on: old unit removal and HDB-compliant disposal — S$60/unit
All labour is covered by our 90-day workmanship warranty. The unit itself carries the manufacturer’s warranty (typically 5 years on the compressor, 1 year on the parts).
HDB Compliance — Why It Matters
HDB has strict guidelines on trunking colour, external bracket placement, and drainage discharge points. An install that ignores these can result in a fine, a forced re-route at your expense, or issues at resale. We install to HDB spec by default — it’s the only way we know how.
